| Dimensions | Love this bottle. Flow rate from autoseal is nice and fast. Seals nicely. Keeps my cold water nice and cold for a long time. Loved it so much, got the 24 one too. Use both daily.Update (11/20/18): 4 months later and they don’t keep my water cold even on a two hour car ride. I have only cleaned the bottles by hand and have run the avex tops through the dishwasher on the top rack once and they’ve lost their ability to keep drinks cold. I contacted Coleman warranty (lifetime warranty against defects) and they said ice retention is not covered under the lifetime warranty. I don’t understand that the purpose of this bottle is to keep drinks cold or hot and if it fails to do either of those, it would be a defect, am I right? Why have a lifetime warranty if this is not even a failure due to misuse or neglect? That’s fine. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. |

| Color | Great water bottle so far!! Have had this 40oz Coleman for a couple weeks now and this is definitely my favorite water bottle I’ve ever used. For the ice fans I can tell you mine holds ice pretty much an entire day – depends on how many times I refill it. I can refill this bottle easily 3 times and keep the same ice in about 12 hours at work. I also noticed my ice will last at least 24 hours if I’m not refilling. I bought the 40oz from Amazon. My kids also loved it so when I happened to find the 24oz bottles on sale at a local store I had to get them. The pictures show the size comparison of the 24oz vs 40oz vs 1 gallon jug. We also own many other water bottle including some of the Yeti tumblers – this is my favorite especially for work or taking out with me. It’s literally spill proof and this lid is also the main reason for getting the 24oz for my kids who are 4&6. These are very solid and the colored coating on them is textured for grip and also feels durable. 24oz bottles should fit any cup holder and my 40oz also has fit our cup holders in our Toyota Sienna and Jeep Grand Cherokee. |
| Material | After looking around for a quality water bottle, I bought this one. The packaging said that it would keep hot drinks warm for up to 24 hours and cold drinks cold for 58 hours. The first time I used it I filled it half way up with ice and put water in it and left in in the air conditioned kitchen while I was working around the house. Within an hour all the ice had melted and the water was cool but definitely cold. After drinking the water I filled it up to the top with ice and then put water in it. I came back to it a little over an hour later and again all the ice had melted and the water was barely cool. I tried it one more time filling it up with ice again and let it sit overnight and when I drank out of it in the morning the water was room temperature. All three times it was sealed tight and the bottle doesn’t appear to be damaged at all. Very disappointed to have spent this much money on an insulated bottle that does the same thing as a regular plastic bottle of water. |

I could not return it, not contact the manufacturer, so I took to Amazon for a replacement.Right off, I love the color, that deep green Coleman uses is my favorite color. The top is my favorite part. I wasn’t sure if it had a handle or not. I could not tell from pictures if it was springloaded, part of the lock or something. The handle is nice, it folds flat, and is soft feeling and comfortable to hold.There will be no leaks with this bottle. The autoseal valve is great. I’ve used that type of valve in Contigo bottles for years. And even my kids can’t break them, so I already have a certain amount of trust for that valve. The valve has a lock, so the button can’t be pressed. On top of that there is a flip lid that will go over the spout. That should keep it clean if it’s dropped outdoors.I love having this on my bedside table. I tend to breath through my mouth and wake up in the middle of the night with a very dry mouth. This bottle is much easier to drink out of in that half sleep slumber. No worrying about spilling a cup, or trying to unscrew a cap with one hand. Just grab, position, and press the button for a rush or ice cold goodness.The bottle has a nice rubber bottom, that grips as well as makes using it quiet.Quality I have come to expect from Coleman. A bottle that would go very well with camping gear. A rugged and thoughtful design. |
