| Dimensions | Full disclosure I’ve had it for 1 day but not my first rodeo – I had a “thermos” brand vacuum sealed bottle before and this one exceeds that one for features and initial quality.Features:- The mouth of the bottle is wide (much wider than Thermos),- It came with a small basic carabiner attached to the bottle- It holds 24oz – larger than Thermos by 6 ounces.- It is a cool color (slate gray/black) and it does as advertised – my water is nearly as cold as when I poured it in the container at 0600 this morning (6 hours ago and counting).- Add in that bottles with a secure lid (has a switch to avoid unexpected flip top deployment)- Lid supports single hand button push opening to reveal a port to drink from (no unscrewing to drink). |

This one is absolutely PERFECT, and I am super picky. Favorite feature: the CAP. I use it while working out on the elliptical, and the cap combines easy access while on the machine with a spout that’s easy to drink from (easy flow without spillage). The cap also has a latching dust cover that protects against contamination, and when latched, from what I can tell, the whole thing is pretty much completely leak proof. After ordering my first bottle, I ordered a second, along with 3 or 4 replacement tops, just in case the latch mechanism fails. I’ve been using the first bottle for approx. 6 months and it hasn’t failed yet. I drink from it daily. Aquatix: Please don’t stop making this design–IT’S A WINNER!!! |
| Color | I immediately loved this water bottle when I purchased it nearly two and half years ago but never got around to writing a review. I still love it. It holds a good amount of water and keeps it cold for a long time. I note that some old reviews complain about leaking. I use it regularly and I’ve never had that problem – in fact, between hikes the filled bottle lies on its side in the refrigerator and it has never leaked. After two+ years of use the lid flip mechanism failed. I wrote to the company and they tell me they can replace the lid for $6.95. I like the flip lid because it requires only one hand to open. You won’t be sorry if you buy this bottle. This is a real review, written without any incentives. |
| Material | I love this water bottle. Not like love. Not even love, LOVE. I’ve had this bottle for four years now. Granted, it was packed away for a good year of that, but I rediscovered it, and was reminded how very awesome it is. Keeps my water, etc ice cold for more than a day. 48 hours and it may not be ice, but it’s still very much cold. It’s had a couple of heavy drops, so it sits a little crooked (my version had the ‘cap’ on the bottom, it looks like the new version is a single piece, and it looks like they’ve added a carrying strap. I’m ordering more, because it is amazing. The giant one was also amazing, so amazing, that a construction person stole it. >:\ I’ll need to get another of those too! |

The top is also leak proof and has a clip that can be attached to something which will keep in one place, like a tractor or a lawnmower. The circumference of the base is not too big and will fit in a Kubota zero turn without turning over. It is a little tight for a John Deere tractor though and will fit tightly in a Ford F150. I have both a Yeti and this unit and I never take the Yeti outside while I do my chores because of the lid which does not securely fit tightly. The Aquatic on the other hand, is the best design and the best cost of any thermal type drinking cup. |
