| Material | I bought this to free up space in the small cup holder between the seats. It is worse than useless for my needs. I thought I measured everything, but apparently not, so this may be mostly my fault. The opening is way too big for anything that I am aware of except for those huge Big Gulp drinks from service station stores. Anything else will rattle around loose and in a moving car, that is not only messy but dangerous.It should have width adjustments like some of the ones that fit into existing cup holders. At least they could provide a couple of inserts for different size bottles. But even that wouldn’t really solve the problem. A cup holder needs to hold the cup/bottle securely. This one doesn’t.And it also does not fit my car, a Lexus sedan.Finally, it’s kinda ugly. I do give it points for being sturdy (I guess), but it looks like it belongs in a tractor or big rig. And it comes with a big ugly sticker on the top. I guess it peels right off, but it does not give a good first impression.It’s not worth sending it back, so I’ll see if anyone wants it. If not, into the recycling bin. |
