| Dimensions | I waited a couple months before reviewing this product to make sure I put it through its paces to be thorough.I purchased these bottle bags to add to my edc pack. The one that I use works well and keeps my bottle on the bag, nice and accessible. It has a cinch at the mouth of the bag in the attempts to keep your bottle from falling out of the bag. My bottle is a Takeya 32oz bottle, so it is too tall for the cinch to be effective, so I have just learned (the hard way) to not carry my bag haphazardly.Today (9 weeks after receiving) I found that the strap holding the plastic d-ring at the top of the bag had split with only a thread holding it together. I mainly use the d-ring for keeping the bottle bag stabilized against my main bag, but with the main sort of the molle straps, I don’t know how that could have happened. I cannot say that I am easy on my gear. I am definitely hard on everything I carry, but there s generally little to no stress placed on that d-ring or strap other than a loose carabiner rattling around for support.I originally purchased these bags for around $17 for two, so I think, in this case, you get what you pay for. If anything else fails on my first bag, I will move on to the second.TL;DR – They are not the best made bags, they may wear out on you sooner than your would like, but they also are not very expensive. If you need a bag for your water bottle now, and would like time to research/find/save for a better option, these are a good option. It would hopefully give you 6+ months to figure things out between the two bags |

I went traveling/ hiking for a month in Japan and I used the pockets to hold my batteries/ chargers, so I was constantly opening the bags.The nylon material is thick and sturdy and is not the cheap material that has a glued layer to make it water proof.The water bottle pouch is very big as you can see by the pictures. I actually layered it with foam and used it as a lenses case that I could attach and detach from my belt. So I didn’t have to constantly open my bag to swap out lenses.You also get 4 grimlocks and 4 elastic gear straps. That I didn’t think I’d use or need. But I actually used everything. And was glad I took it all with me. The straps held my umbrella. |
| Color | Not very happy with this product any longer.The water bottle holder is still working fine.The drawstring is holding up well.The accompanying pouch… well not so much…..The zipper has been giving me trouble coming apart and won’t stay zipped….And my items inside fall out.So what I;ve done to it using my handy knife was to cut out the zipper.And I will order another better stronger zipper and ask a family member to sew it in for me.So I am removing my review and knocking down the 2 stars and that is generous.I would NOT recommend this product….. keep browsing for something else. |
