| Dimensions | I bought one of these slings in light blue for a trip to Disney World last May (read: around 90 degrees from day two forward). I had read that it was a good idea to bring a water bottle with us and ask for refills throughout the day (or find water fountains), so what we did was fill it with ice first thing in the morning, let it melt, refill, etc.. It did a good job of keeping the water cold, as well as our hands free. We are going to Disney World again this May, so I just bought a second sling in purple so that we could carry two water bottles instead of one.While my crossbody bag strap dug into my neck after walking around for a while, this sling’s strap was comfortable the whole time, thanks to its being soft neoprene like the rest of the sling, it doesn’t dig in at all. We didn’t have any problems with the stitching at all. There are other slings similarly priced here on Amazon with cuter prints, but since we used the last one successfully for our trip, I didn’t want to risk buying something that was somehow unsatisfactory. Thus we stuck with the same one, and I like the rich purple color. |

| Material | I love this insulating sling! It fits all kinds of bottle sizes and will keep liquids cold or hot. I didn’t wait for the stitching to fail so heeding the feedback I went to the fabric store and purchased liquid seam sealer. I used Dritz 1674 Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant which is applied right from the bottle. I have used this in the past and can vouch for it’s effectiveness and it also dries crystal clear. The old saying “Time is money” is in play here and IMHO that is why they use the wide zig zag stitch as well as cheap thread to assemble it. However this slings fabric is of high quality and thickness which was my justification for investing in the sealer. I am very pleased with the results knowing the seams won’t fray with normal use. I hope this will help resolve your stitching problems. |
| Power Source | I can’t say enough good things about this item. It took me many years to finally wear mine down so now I’m getting another plus another color. I bet it would be an appreciated gift to an avid sporting person. It does of course need to be used with a drink container that has some sort of lid on it though—otherwise your drink will inevitably go everywhere when your luck runs out, but it’s no fault of this product! It does as well as it can to keep your drink-on-the-go upright and not all over you! |
