I set it on my car console while I got the other stuff in the car. I hopped in.. and immediately sent the cup FLYINGGGG thru the car with my elbow. It flipped, somersaulted, and fell under my seat. Insert string of curse words.I’m not even kidding when I say I almost shed a tear when I pulled the cup out from under the seat and NOT A DROP WAS SPILLED. The water bottle will keep ice in it all day long in the hot summer sun, no problem. So when I was looking for a winter alternative to keep with me at work, I thought simple modern might be a good place to start. I got the 20 oz, engraved stars version and it is beautiful, sleek, and everything I needed. I drink a lot of tea, and I filled this tumbler up with the hot water from the water cooler, not even boiling, and it remained TOO HOT TO DRINK for the next 2.5 HOURS with the lid on, drinking cap popped for venting. This cup is watertight, and WILL keep your drink hot for hours and hours. Best purchase, DEFINITELY worth it. |

| Material | Wanted to like it, seems like a company with good values and employees, but it’s dysfunctional for very basic purpose it serves. First the flap on the lid has a bump that covers the vent hole, when open it pokes my nose. Every time I try to take a sip it shoves up against my nose and leaves a drop of whatever I’m drinking. The inside of the lid is also tapered and has a weird angle so when you go to drink out of it, the fluid pours to the sides of your lips as well and makes more of a mess. Good quality, cool looking cup, horrible functionality. Literally have to take the lid off to drink from it without making a mess on my face.Sincerely,-average faced person |

The heat inside the cup would make the lid swell and you could not get the lid to unscrew. I always want the lid to screw on so that if it turns over the push down lids won’t fly off. This is why I ordered this type but I could not unscrew the lid after first cup of coffee. If they can fix this part the cup would be perfect. Keeps coffee very hot and I liked the clear lid so you could sort of see how much you have left and the fit in your hand was very good and it would fit in a cup holder. But the lid was the problem! You think you have cross threaded the lid biut you have not, it just will not unscrew without using a piece of rubber or a towel to get it undone. And even using these things it was still very hard to get the lid off! |
