| Dimensions | This product far exceeds my expectations!!!! I was skeptical that it would truly keep a product cold as long as indicated but I was incredibly wrong! When the Hydro Flask arrived my curiosity wanted to test their claims before I really started regularly using it. I filled the Hydro Flask with ice water the day I got it and I kid you not it still had ice on the third day! I was mind blown! The first two pictures I’ve provided show day one and the final picture looking directly in was taken on day three after consuming about half of the contents as I couldn’t resist a few drinks.The Hydro Flask had absolutely zero condensation on the outside during any of those three days! I couldn’t believe it! The texture is a powder coating and I think that’s great as I don’t fear that I’m going to drop it. As you can see from the pictures I provided, the color is vibrant and the blue looks great! The sport cap is a plus, it does not leak, and it makes for very easy use. It’s not your typical spout tip either as it’s a thick rubber. This might be a good thing for people who typically bite the plastic tip. I will say that the Hydro Flask is more expensive than other water bottles on the market from what I’ve seen but they are well worth the cost.Hydro Flask is designed and originated from beautiful Bend, Oregon which is where I was born and raised so I feel ashamed I waited so many years to try or buy or one. And although I live in Kansas City now, I love that I can have a little piece of home with me because I’m a sap like that. I can’t wait to purchase another Hydro Flask for myself in the growler size. They’d make a great gift as well because who doesn’t use a water bottle at some point. Bottom line, you will not be disappointed with purchasing a Hydro Flask!Finally, I am a paid consumer so I did buy this product with my own money. My review is genuine and my own. I know it’s hard to believe because I’m so enthusiastic but the product is legit! |
| Model Number | I really like the actual water bottle but the sports cap is terrible. I can’t tell you how many times this has spilled on my bed, on my table, all over my backpack. With the price being what it is I don’t think it should be leaking everywhere. I would recommend buying the bottle the comes with the screw on cap if you are really set on buying a hydroflask otherwise there are many other more affordable brands the work almost as well if not the same. If the bottle falls even on a smooth surface it gets dents and scratches fairly easily. Would not recommend this one with the sports cap. |
| Color | I had an older 21oz Hydroflask (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WU9VKK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that I loved, but I lost it on the golf course. That thing worked so well and I was bummed to lose it. I bought this new one to replace it, and the difference in the ability to insulate is horrible. With the old model, I could put some tap water and 2 ice cubes in it at night, and still have cold water in the morning. Now, I have to put 5x the ice in just to get somewhat cool water in the morning. It’s not just a difference in the sport cap vs the screw-on cap. You can feel the outside of the bottle actually getting cold when you put cold water in. This means the water bottle is doing a terrible job at insulating. Looks like their manufacturing quality has gone down as they’ve gotten more popular. Very disappointing. |
| Material | I purchased this water bottle for my very active son who is on 2 travel basketball and two travel soccer teams. I had super high hopes for this Hydro Flask water bottle and was happy to see how excited my son was when he received it. While the water stays cold, the water does not stay in the bottle…because it LEAKS!!! My son’s uniforms and gear have been drenched on several occasions due to the leaky top, the same has happened in the car on the floor and the seats. My daughter has a larger Hydro Flask with the standard top and has not had any issues. I am so disappointed this time around and hope this faulty product issue can and will be rectified. |

I like my water really cold, so I usually end up packing a ton of ice in the bottle – I don’t need to with this one, because any ice I add will STILL be there 24+hrs later and that’s no exaggeration. I find myself drinking a lot more water now that it’s at my preferred temperature all the time. I also love that it doesn’t sweat or get any condensation on it at all, no matter what environment it’s in. It’s a little more than I’d like to spend for a water bottle, but it’s worth every penny for the quality. As an added bonus, it’s basically indestructible. I’m incredibly clumsy and sometimes careless with my things – it’s been dropped pretty hard on everything from concrete to asphalt and barely shows any scratches. Also makes a great eco-friendly gift! |
