This bottle has one of the highest ratings I have seen on Amazon and it simply does not live up to the hype.The main issue is that it is very hard to drink out with the straw as the suction lets you only take small sips then lets out an annoyingly loud noise. I tried to fix this through various ways and playing with the hole that is supposed to allow air through and was only able to make it minimally usable.The entire lid and straw feel cheap and are hard to clean as well.I have used a lot of other bottles in the past including hydroflasks, camelbacks, swells and others, this one may be cheaper but it was a waste of money. If you must buy this one, do not buy the straw lid. |

I personally drink about 8 of these a day, so filling it up with ice only twice, is a game changer! A few weeks ago, I thought I lost it, but I just forgot it in the backseat of my sisters car. Mind you, it was there for five days, in 90 degrees(+) and there was still ice in it!I used to not be a huge water drinker, as I only like water when it’s FREEZING cold! But? After having VSG surgery, and being limited to pretty much only water, this has been a life saver. Before I would put plastic bottles in the freezer but I was going through them so fast, even refilling them, I couldn’t justify that kind of damage to the planet.My friend told me about her hydro flask and I was sold…. until I saw the price tag! These work just as well, they just don’t have the logo (like that matters lol). I take it everywhere with me and I don’t think I’ll ever go back plastic bottles!*QUICK TIP* If you’re going to be putting ice in it, like I do; please be careful when opening it! Because it’s air tight, as the ice melts, the molocules expand (thanks 7th grade science class). Because of this, if you wait too long after closing it with fresh ice, it will shoot water out at you! We usually take a cooler with our own healthy food and like to take water along with us (and our two dogs who travel with us). I have a smaller version of this bottle and love it. These two large ones are perfect to ensure that we have enough water for everyone in the car.The first thing I did was test the water tightness of the lids. There was no leakage (but it’s important to screw the lid on tightly. The straw feature worked VERY well. The pop up mouth piece on the lid must be open all the way for the inside straw to work. Happily, my water (with ice in it) stayed very very cold for hours. The ice did melt, but the water was still cold the next morning. I do think that the ice melts a bit faster in these really big bottles then it does in a smaller bottle so just be aware of that. There was no condensation of any kind on the outside of either bottle even with all the ice inside.The colors are gorgeous, and they seem to be very well made and are a fraction of the price of a Hydro Flask of the same size. I would expect for these and any other bottles made of this material to dent if hit hard on the outside. So be careful out there.I bought a Wild Wolf Outfitters carrying bag for both of my bottles so that they A: will stay cleaner on the outside, B: will stay colder on the inside, and C : so that I can fling the bottle over my shoulder (with the included shoulder strap). I got the 40 oz bottle in powder blue and honestly couldn’t be more thrilled with it! It’s perfect to keep at my desk throughout the day. Since it’s 40 oz, you don’t need to fill it up as often. Drink ~2 of these babies/day and you’re golden.I will say, the 40 oz does not fit in a car cup holder. So if you need one that does, be sure to get a smaller size. Otherwise, it’s still super portable – I carry it in the drink pocket of my backpack and it fits great.Overall, this is a GREAT purchase for the price. It’s durable, portable, and keeps drinks super cold. It also comes with an extra straw which is a bonus!P.S. If you have experience using the Camelbak water bottles with the straws, this is much better. I used to hate that the Camelbak straws would fall out throughout the day and I’d have to constantly keep adjusting. The straw in this water bottle is locked in airtight to the suction area.
