| Dimensions | I have been using Hyrdoflask for many years. Husband came home with a 32 oz Yeti tumbler and gave it to me. I use tumblers to drink my ice coffee. I ordered this straw lid thinking it woukd be spill proof. Let me explain that. My Hydroflask straw lid is sealed. If it tipped over, so could have some small leakage through the straw itself, not the hole the straw is in. The Yeti doesn’t have a sealed straw system. If I tip this Yeti over, coffee will ooze out the straw insert area and the straw itself. I won’t use this Yeti lid when I am working, because of the spill issue and liquids and electronics don’t play well.If you want a straw lid that is just ok and you don’t work around electeonics, then you are good to go. I can’t use this in the car either because of the size of the tumbler. Guess what topples out of your cup holder if you have to jerk out of the way to avoid an accident? Which leads to lots of coffee all over your car carpet and upholstery and a new coffee scented air freshner. If you are clutzy like me, this lid is not for you. If you are prone to spillage, go with the other brand. |

| Color | I have the Yeti 30 ounce tumbler and could not be more please with its durability and functionality. That being said, it was difficult to drink cold liquids out of the slide top because the ice would block the opening not allowing any of the fluid to get through – great for coffee – awful for anything cold. I saw a girl at work with this lid and knew I had to have it. I asked her where she purchased it – she said some specialty store at the beach. I certainly was not going to drive to the beach to purchase a lid so the search was on. Easily found on Amazon and the price was right. I love this lid for the following reasons:1. It fits well until my tumbler – even when tipped upside down (tried without liquid first then with liquid – same outcome)2. The straw fits will into the cup and lid. The straw is a great size making it easy to clean (I use a pipe cleaner with dish soap to clean the straw out).3. The straw has a stopper on the end to prevent it from pulling out of the lid.4. The lid and straw are a heavy plastic and a great quality – they have both held up well in the dish washerI highly recommend this lid to anyone who like me uses their Yeti tumbler for hot and cold liquid. I have even now started drinking my coffee through the straw with this lid – LOVE IT. Why I never thought of drinking my coffee through a straw before is beyond me. |
| Material | This is a 100% original product made my YETI. As usual, the quality is top notch. The fit is perfect to the 30oz “Rambler” tumbler. The actual lid is almost identical to the lid that came with the Rambler, except it obviously has the straw configuration instead of the slider. The straw is sturdy and wide, easily accommodating the enjoyment of frozen drinks, without being overly cumbersome. I never mind paying a bit more for quality, and that pretty much defines my experience with YETI products. Like everything I have purchased from YETI to date, this does not disappoint. |
