| Model Number | After searching and reading the reviews of a lot of different large cup holders,I went w this one. I have a metal 32 oz water bottle that’s quite heavy when filled and I was worried that it would be too heavy,since it’s so tall,and would topple out of any cup holder.Well,this one works absolutely fantastic! The bottom is flexible ,tapered,rubber “fins” (best way to describe it) that wrap around the base. The cup holder part has removable rubber inserts to accommodate different sized bottles. I had to remove the inserts and my bottle fits perfectly. The sides are high enough that my tall bottle will not topple out if I have to stop short. It also has a cut out that will accommodate a cup that has a handle. If pressed,the only thing I could maybe find to complain about is that it is kinda hard to remove from the car cup holder once you have it in. You have to push it hard back and forth to remove it or to move it to the other cup holder in the car. But,I guess that could be a GOOD thing too,right? It means that it will stay put and not rattle around.Highly recommend this cup holder,especially if you want one for larger water bottles |
| Color | I have a 2002 BMW Roadster that has the worlds WORST cup holders. Not even a water bottle is held securely in them, much less a large 32 oz bottle or cup that wouldn’t even begin to fit in the opening. I ordered this cup holder, because it looked versatile enough that it “just might” fit the very small cup holder that the BMW came with. At first I didn’t think it would work as the opening was barely more than 2 1/2 inches across. BUT…to my amazement and surprise, I was able to get the cup holder installed. It’s VERY sturdy, holds in the existing cup holder securely and NOW I have a place to put my 32 oz. water bottle or large cup, without having to lay it on the passenger seat or hold it between my legs. See picture with the red cup.I am so pleased with this, I’m going to order TWO more for my Lincoln Town Car that has the second worlds worst cup holders….Update: I bought two more for the Lincoln and my cup holder problem is solved in it also. The left cup holder has all 4 rubber spacer tabs installed. The right one only has two as my cup and my husbands bottle are different sizes. The two tabs I removed are stored in the bottom of the holder.These are so easy to install are secure and sturdy. High quality and HOLD MY BOTTLES in place. |
| Material | I ordered this cup holder for my car and my daughters car. One of the little rubber things was missing from one of the holders so that’s why only 3 stars. I’m not going to return them and order a new one because the first time I ordered them the order got stuck at the Amazon delivery place for two days beyond the promised delivery date. So I canceled it and re-ordered and they came less the 24hrs later. I cut The rubber pieces like other reviewers said and I super glued a piece that I cut off onto the cup holder, hopefully this will work. These were not cheap so to have it come missing a piece is very annoying. |
| Power Source | I bought a cute stainless steel thermos from Walmart and liked to take it to work filled with hot coffee in the winter…So far, so good. I would pour the coffee into my travel mug and bring the thermos home in my bag. However, it also has a drink spout and I use an extra-long metal straw with it for cold drinks in the summer. I would drink straight from the thermos and refill it with iced water at work and take it for the ride home…and found it didn’t fit in my cup holder. I was so bummed!! I had to take out the straw, close it up, and carry it home in my bag. This cup holder was the answer! It fits snugly and securely into my cup holder in the car and the diameter is perfect to hold my thermos. It also has a slot for a cup with a handle if you need it. My thermos has a carry loop attached to the lid so I don’t need that feature at this point but it’s nice to have if I switch things up. If I bought two, they would both fit in the console cup holder openings. I drive a GMC Terrain. I think the price point is a little steep, but it works! |
