I came very close to purchasing cheaper models and feel I would have been very disappointed.It is exceptionally easy to install. To get a perfect fit, you twist either the top or bottom portion and notches begin to protrude from the bottom section. I found it easiest to twist them out enough to where I could still fit it down inside my vehicle cup holder, then twist the top again until the fit was snug.This fit my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport perfectly, and holds our 26oz Yeti ramblers with no problem. I was so impressed with the first one, I immediately ordered a second for the rear cup holder. I tested and 2 will definitely fit side by side in the front.Extremely pleased I picked this one! Laziness and convenience made me buy two and the fact that I was so pleased with the first one I bought.If you wouldn’t have guessed already this cup holder extender allows your larger cups or bottles to sit ABOVE your current cup holder so it sits tall in my center console. For my stick shift car I had to put it in the rear most cup holder in the console so I could shift. It did get in the way. But having it in the rear one doesn’t block my ability to lean on the arm rest in the middle either.Sometimes it’s weird seeing my water bottle riding high besides me but it’s so much nicer than seeing it lay on my passenger seat with the lid not closed all the way spilling water all over my seat. Now it’s so much easier and SAFER to access while I’m driving. |
