| Dimensions | There is one major flaw with this lid–it’s nearly impossible to drink out of. They say it’s leak-proof, and it is, but the silicone stopper that makes the lid leak-proof also makes it impossible to suck liquid out. My 3-year-old couldn’t, and my husband and I had to suck as hard as we could to get any water out. Once we removed the stopper, the water flowed freely, but that means water would leak everywhere if the bottle weren’t upright, which defeats the purpose of using this lid. It’s a great idea, and I wish it worked better. I’ll be sending this back. |
| Model Number | This does not fit my 32oz Ascent water bottle. It appears to be slightly too large and the ridges do not match my original lid or the picture of the item. I tried to show in my picture how on this lid (on left) you can see both the beginning and end of the ridges in the same picture, but on my original lid and the product picture the beginning and end of the ridges are on opposite sides of each other. I don’t know if it’s this or that it’s too big, but this definitely does not fit and does not match what is displayed. I ordered this twice hoping that it was just a fluke with the first one but the second one was the same way. Very disappointed. |

| Power Source | This review is for the CHUG LID.I bought this lid for my 24oz, standard mouth Hydro Flask.The lid fits, does not leak, and has the perfect sized opening.The quarter turn lid is silent. The handle is strong and reliable and does not hit your nose.There are two seals on this lid. The first is on the part that screws onto the actual bottle. The second is on the cap that screws over the spout of the lid. Both of these seals appear to have low contact with the actual water in the bottle which is a great deaign. Still, if you aren’t letting the bottle air dry each night, it is plausible that these seals, may develop mold, a truth for all water bottle llid and not something to count against this one.The good thing is that these seals are white so you can easily spot any mold or mildew and clean it up fast. The OEM Hydro Flask lid’s seal is black which makes it harder to spot any mold or mildew.I’ve tried a few lid’s for my water bottle and this is the one I’ll be using daily. |
