| Dimensions | I’ve purchased similar para cord handles for the Hydro flask water bottle from other sellers, and loved them. This handle is nearly identical to the others, with one design flaw that ruins it for me. The plastic piece that goes over the main lip, at the top of the bottle, is attached to the para cord handle. I don’t like this because I can’t easily remove the para cord handle, without also removing the entire plastic piece. The plastic piece is very difficult to install and reinstall over the lip.Sadly for me, I like the para cord handle off when cleaning the bottle. I use the bottle daily and clean it that often. Maybe it’s just me.If the unit was sold in two pieces, it would be a five star winner for me. |

I broke my hand and was just plain angry that I had to waste a whole hand (aka my only hand) to carry thing around plus whatever else. I was so mad that I almost spent the money on the 21oz and sports top. Then I came across this guy and my life was changed. It’s like a second pocket! I can carry it around my wrist, I attach my keys to it, I hook my sunnies on there, I can hook it around my bookbag loop and my strapped beach chair. The possibilities are endlesssss.It was a total pain in the butt to get it on, I will admit that. I had someone warm up the plastic ring for a bit by sitting on it and then stretched it out to get it around the lip of the hydro flask. That’s my trick and it works! |

It definitely does its job by making it easier to carry the bottle, that is of course, IF you’re able to get it over the mouth of the bottle. Granted, the packaging did say it would take some effort to get it on the bottle, but holy cow I didn’t think I’d break a sweat and have sore thumbs days after finally getting the ring around the mouth of the bottle. It took two days of trying to muscle it on the bottle. I initially thought I would remove it when washing the bottles but forget, there’s no way in heck am I going to attempt to remove and then get the ring back on again.Again, it makes holding the bottle much easier once it is on and the colors compliment my bottles well. Overall, the Concept of the product is fantastic, but there has to be a better way or design to make installation for customers better.Three stars from me. Would I buy this product again? HELL NO. nobody in their right mind would voluntarily purchase a product again that makes their thumbs hurt and would make you exert that much effort. At least until they come up with an improved design. |
