Cold drinks and water need ice though… with ice, I’ve had a diluted cranberry juice last as fridge temp cold for 22 hours. Solid. I just wish there was a way to keep mold from growing in the bottom after only water’s inside it. I swear the half gallon Hydroflask I have doesn’t do that but these smaller bottles ALL grow mold if anything inside is room temp. It’s a big disappointment given the price: enough so that I can’t give this bottle a 5-star. Otherwise it’s good enough that I’m resigned to swabbing it as soon as it’s not cold and ditching precious water I would otherwise have been able to drink. I still like it and it fits in my ruck when I’m on location. |
