Both performed stellar!This one is leak proof, and I’ve ran it through the dishwasher, it came out perfectly.Left it in my car over night with ice and it was still cold the next morning. I live in the desert, its 113 here right now. This bottle not only holding up very well to the elements, I dont have to worry about leaving it in my car when I go into a store. It doesn’t get gross on the outside and sweat either, I left it in my purse and it was fine 2 hours later.I’m super happy with it!It does come with 2 different lids, an extra straw and a straw cleaner brush. I just prefer this lid on mine.Order and you wont be disappointed! |

So I have to lay it on the passenger seat, and when it’s on it’s side, it leaks, no matter how hard I screw the lid down.The other problem is that it doesn’t have any kind of handle, just a rubber loop for carrying. Because it’s so bulky, it’s awkward trying to hold it when drinking, especially when it’s full.The good news is that it really keeps your water cold for a long time, and the color finish on the bottle is very durable. The cleaning brush and extra straws are handy, and the alternate chugging lid is nice.I know that a 32 oz. bottle is going to be unwieldy. But the leaking is inexcusable. Considering the high price, I hesitate to recommend it. |
| Material | This is my story: I live in the desert and today it’s 107 degrees and I work outside. So there are things I had to do to get the product to work in my Climate Zone. First you have to fill it with ICE Cubes 1/2 way. Then take Ice water from the Refrigerator that you put in the night before and fill up the Thermos and put the lid on. Get a rayon tubular sleeve that is lined with the silver thermal lining like a lunch bag and slip it over the thermos and zip it up make sure your is an Enclosed Zipper Pouch so no cool air can escape, and what you have is a really good product.I work outside and push a cart and it was 107 outside; I put my prepared Thermos under the top shelf to keep it out of the sun and worked about 4 hours out in the heat and carrying it from one location to the next and came home forgot about it and the next day looked for it in the house to refill it and that is when I discovered I had a good setup. I opened my Thermos and all the ICE CUBES HAD MELTED TOGETHER AND FORMED A BLOCK OF ICE INSIDE THE THERMOS, and I could not get it out which was fine with me I just re-filled it up with more ICE WATER and went to work the next day using the ice cubed block from the day before. So YES, I like the product but you do need to prepare like I instructed at the beginning of this review. Putting the Thermos in the fridge with tap water does not give you an ice cold result overnight either because of the way it’s made. But you will have ice cold water in the heated elements if you do like I say. Also, I have no Idea where you would buy the sleeve at either I happened to find one in the work I do. I did not know they where even made until I found one so I will be looking for one too, to buy just in case. The one I found is made specifically for a Thermos this shape and size. Good luck and I would buy this product again. They should sell sleeves for them too I think. You will also need a bottle brush to clean the inside of the thermos , but it does come with a really small one to clean the inside of the flip top lids which there are two kinds but I only use the one. | Power Source | Okay, so I have been researching water bottles that are comparable to the extraordinarily overpriced hydro flasks, ad nauseam. This water bottle definitely keeps things cold longer than 24 hours with 6 ice cubes, the ice lasted into day 3. I haven’t tried hot contents yet. The only thing I’m struggling with is that the bottle has started leaking if it falls onto its side. It didn’t at first, and I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I’m hoping it’s just a fluke because otherwise it’s great. But I’ve tried taking it apart and putting it back together and still leaks. Not sure why. |
