That may sound odd, but I intended to attach it to my LowePro camera utility belt, and didn’t want anything that hung to far down (where it might be bouncing off of my leg or getting in the way if I needed to crouch). This bottle case is perfect for that size water bottle, and its straps lock into the attachment points on the utility belt perfectly. I also like that it’s just a bit loose on the water bottle, allowing me to pull out the bottle and return it to the case one-handed (unlike the LowePro model, which is made of neoprene). Even though it’s pretty inexpensive, the materials are heavy-duty, and the stitching looks strong to my eye. |

I wanted to be able to carry a regular sized 16oz. water bottle in a separate pouch/container to attach to my cross body sling bag. My sling bag has the strapping on it that allows it to be used with tactical/molle pouches and accessories. So this worked out perfectly. The two straps that are attached to the water bottle pouch, feed through the tactical strapping on my bag, and are secured with snaps. The drawstring closure on the top of the water bottle pouch made for easy removal and insertion of the water bottle. And the mesh bottom helped to keep moisture from building up. Overall it’s a great product and I’m very happy with my purchase! |

I bought a second one so I can have two bottles of extra water plus the water in my CamelbaK for long hikes. It has a draw string with a push button spring loaded release that allows you to cinch it down on your bottle if you plan on running. I generally keep it loose, but I recently jumped down off of a bolder and my bottle flew out of the holder and cracked. Lesson learned, I will be sure to cinch it down with the draw string the next time I’m going to monkey around. All in all it does the job quite nicely and I recommend it.
