| Material | I can’t say I like it or even that it is “okay” considering it doesn’t quite live up to what it claims. I believed the magnet should be strong enough to keep it in place on the side of my lawn mower hood while holding a full 12 oz. aluminum can. It cannot.It fell off of my mower several times and caused me to lose my entire beverage. I would not recommend purchasing this to use on the side of your mowers hood or fender. The magnet just can’t handle it.Instead, I use it on the flat area between my legs. The “Firewall” of the mower is flat and metal, so the magnet grips it and the bottom of the caddy rests on the flat portion. The magnet is strong enough to prevent it sliding from side to side, so I am able to keep my beverage stable at that position. While not where I would have desired to have my drink located, it is stable and still within reach.One positive thing I can say is that the caddy appears to be durable. While falling off the side of my mower several times I actually ran over it once with my front tire. It flexed and came out seemingly unscathed. I didn’t notice any immediate damage, and it continues to function in the position I now use it in.UPDATE:I attempted to remove my caddy and the magnet detached from the housing. From looking at the attachment points, I’m surprised it’s lasted this long. I will try to glue this back together and continue using it but I expected it to last longer than 2 months. Altering my review from 2 to 1 star. |

They are excellent for holding insulated water bottles or other types of beverage container. They don’t seem to bounce out the bottles or containers, even when I cover some fairly rough ground on the tractor. Of course if it gets too rough I just add a small stretchy band to it and don’t worry at all. Sure does make it nice to have a cool drink right close to hand on a hot day. The magnet on these is super strong and it holds it in place even with a full beverage container in it. Great product at a very low price. Highly recommend this product. |
