| Dimensions | Well well well, the day my question was answered. I would often wonder why such a decent working water bottle of this size was this affordable.Well, not exactly. BUT, I did find out why Sendestar is not a popular water bottle.I have already had incidents where the non-sparkling water exploded like a jack in the box type of fountain. However, since it only happened once, I only laughed and enjoyed the splash. I figured I was lucky it didn’t happen all over my computer and it was just once!I even looked past the occasional drip whenever it was turned to the side.All because it was a 32oz bottle that kept my drinks cold, fit in my cup holder just fine, had a straw, had a seemingly great handle, AND was easily affordable.But, alas, all pretty ok things come to an end.Check out the pictures. |
| Model Number | This bottle is nearly perfect. Nearly. The lids that it comes with are flimsy, not great quality- but a Hydroflask lid fits and I use that. LOVE the capacity and that it fits in my car cup holder. Keeps my water just like I like it – ice cold! The thing I don’t like, and this is a petty issue, but stickers will not adhere to this bottle. Even high-quality vinyl decals just come right off. I even tried super gluing a couple on and they just came right off. I’m a big fan of putting stickers on my water bottles, so that is just a bummer. I don’t have this issue with other powder coated bottles. |

The company contacted me and offered to send me a refund or a new water bottle. I chose the water bottle. I’m very happy that I did. My original must have been a fluke. I’m guessing it had a hole in its vacuum seal or something. My new bottle keeps my drink ice cold all day and it fits in my car cup holder which is why I bought it and works great! |
| Material | This seems like a nice bottle but the gasket in one of the lids came melted out of shape. I’m not sure I would trust the quality control on the rest of the bottle. Back it goes.Update: turns out the gasket was folded from twisting the cap off, rather than mangled. However, that showed that the gasket is not thick enough to withstand twisting off the cap, and would get folded each time the cap is opened. Not a recipe for a good leakproof water bottle. |
