| Dimensions | This bad boy will keep your drink HOTTTT!!I bought it for cold drinks and it keeps my ice and drink really cold and fresh, but today I put tea in it and it’s been super hot for 4 HOURS! The 14 oz cup looks small and it’s very compact but it holds a lot more than you think! Love it. Would recommend.Edit: After a few months with this product I noticed it does not have a breathing hole !! This is why the liquid remains hot for so long because it is air tight ! This is either a good thing or a bad thing because when you go to drink, it doesn’t come out right. You have to kind of suck the liquid out. Now I don’t know if it was only my cup and I got a factory error but it’s annoying me now. Also the top slider does not come off so it is difficult to clean especially if you drink sugary coffee like I do. Anyway, it’s not worth the expense you can literally buy a more functional cup for the same price anywhere else. |

That’s where all the good information is…This mug could better keep drinks hotter for longer, but to do that they’d need to make the metal walls thicker, and I don’t want thicker walls… (The hollow vacuum walls don’t keep enough air trapped to insulate the mug better.)The lid is awful. It fits my cup just fine. But as MANY others have noted, it is impossible to clean under the black slider. And to make it worse, the air hole on the lid (under the slider) is so small as to be ineffective. The liquid can barely come out of the cup if your mouth is fully covering the mouth hole (not enough air can get into the cup, which creates a vacuum, only allowing a dribble of coffee to come out, especially when the cup is less than half full). Unbelievable. I see in reviews that the cup is really made to work with a the straw…After studying the lid design, I decided I don’t really need the slider. The air hole is too small to be effective. So I first drilled the hole to be a bit bigger at 1/16”, then decided it needed to be bigger so drilled it to be 5/64”. Still very small, but bigger (see photo).Because I can’t clean under the slider, mold grows there, especially if milk is in the coffee… I decided to remove the black slider by sliding a thin metal pin through the hole from the bottom and popped out the slider. (Part of the slider broke and I can’t use it anymore, which is fine for me.)Technically these custom hacks meet my needs.But… without the slider, the location of the hole is placed exactly where my nose hits the lid when I drink. This prevents air going into the cup, thereby creating a vacuum and only a dribble of coffee to come out. Sigh…I had to teach myself how to drink without my nose touching the lid… 😉 |
| Color | I love this tumbler. I use it for coffee in the morning. It fits (just barely) under the keurig dispenser when u remove the drip catch. And it fits in the car cup holder, which is super important. I see what people are saying about the top sorta catching air or pressure which makes the liquid come out slowly, but I use this for hot coffee, so it’s perfect since I’m just sipping it anyway. If I was drinking something cold and wanted more liquid, faster, then I could see this being frustrating. I don’t use the straw, so maybe this would resolve that issue, but I could not attest to it.The color is a really pretty deep burgundy with some shiny fleck in it. I’ve had it a few months now and use it daily and only a little of the color has rubbed off on the bottom.I will purchase more of these. |

Have used it several times and it appears to do a good job of keeping liquids cold without sweating.My one issue and reason for downrating the product is the lid. Although it is very sturdy and I really like the concept of the integrated slider in the design, the drinking hole is too small for use with anything but the most narrow straws. Testing indicates that only small diameter metal straws (provided) or a thin walled plastic disposable will work. Multi-use plastic or anything approaching a smoothie straw in size are a definite a non-starter.What perplexes me is that there is no functional reason why the hole could not have been made larger – this is just a poor design choice which significantly reduces the utility of the product. |
