BUT, I had maybe last bkr for two years, which might not seem like a lot.. but that thing went everywhere with me! Work, gym, spin class, countless flights- not to mention just anytime I was running errands. I can’t tell you how many times I dropped it or it rolled out of my car onto asphalt/ pavement. Countless times! I mean hundreds- I’m that girl! And it survived it all until one day it fell off my parents deck onto concrete. So this is my second one! I didn’t hesitate to get a new one immediately. I know there are a lot of options out there for glass water bottles with a silicone sleeve- I promise you, this one is the best. The glass is so quality and durable and for us water snobs- your water always tastes super clean. I’m in love with this bottle, it literally doesn’t leave my side. So in short, NO, the price tag isn’t ridiculous, it is so so so worth it. Get one, you need one! |

I keep one in my daily carry bag, my husband takes his to work, and my son and his gf to school. They’ve never leaked or broken. I suspect other users are over tightening the lid. It’s not necessary; the silicone gasket makes it secure with just a light turn. I rinse before each refill and a couple times a week fill with soapy water and swish vigorously with the lid on then rinse and air dry. It’s a water bottle; if you clean the mouth part and rinse thoroughly each time you fill it, more intensive cleaning shouldn’t e necessary. It’s overpriced, no doubt about it. That’s part of the prestige retail model. Still, I’ve used many “nice” glass water bottles and none have performed all day, everyday, from school/work to my bouncing bicycle basket and everywhere in between with no leaks, user-friendly styling and a more chic professional look. I will buy more in 32oz size as well. |

This is a HUGE bottle but that’s what I need to be confronted with how little water I’m actually drinking.Issue- this bottle arrived without a lid. Cool, I’ll just use my other one, no big deal. WRONG! This has a slightly larger opening and the threaded area won’t work. I contacted amazon and had to explain why a huge,glass, 1L bottle without a lid isn’t convenient to just throw in my purse. It’s a two or three hour deal for me to get to, thru, and back from a drop off location. I requested a partial refund to order a lid (one is available for $10 on here with the option to snap some lip balm into which for the dehydrated of us is a good idea). They offered to send me a new one if I mailed this back. $32 for lip balm and a lid is worth 3hours if my time. Amazon, if you find my lid you know where I am! |
