| Dimensions | First off, I love my Yeti 64oz Rambler, but my only complaint is the stack upper lid. Because the larger lower lid & the upper lid twist the same direction, it’s hard to know when to stop tightening the lid. So, when tightening both lids… with semi-heavy pressure. The upper lid strips quickly. The issue is that the lower lid is hard plastic, and the upper lid is softer plastic. Suggestion: Yeti-please make the upper lid out of a sturdier plastic, or just reverse the threads so it give the customer a clear indication that the rambler is closed.Thank you,R.K. |
| Model Number | The product is, as are most things Yeti, very nicely made. For this cost, I expect it to actually be a good product at what it’s for: keeping things at temperature (hot or cold). In my case I bought it to have hot coffee at work all day. Being an engineer, I conducted an experiment by filling it with hot tap water (measured at 124F) and came back 5 hours later and measured it at only 111F. For comparison, I have a Stanley 1qt classic (like your grandfather probably had). Water went in at 122F and TWELVE hours later it was 114F. The Yeti is very nice but based on this it certainly is not worth it at twice the cost of the Stanley. |
| Color | I got this because I drink a ton of water and it was the biggest insulated canteen I could find short of a 64 oz growler, which was just too big to be practical. I use it every day and it works great. One thing I noticed is that unlike my hydroflasks, this thing develops a nasty stench at the nozzle after a day it two of use. It’s the glass flow nozzle, which has rubber parts I recommended taking off pretty often. The canteen is on the heavy side, especially when it’s full (duh). But it’s better than running to refill all the time. |

| Power Source | I always assumed Yeti to be the best so I purchased this without any research. I find the ice to be decent depending on what kind of ice you put into it. Some ice seem toLast longer. It looks amazing the color the size it maybe just a little to big a 36oz would’ve been perfect but I do like the 46oz capacity. The only thing about it that sucks is the lid. Like what why would you have both the chug and the lid screw in the same direction. I almost broke my wrists the first time I realized I tightened it too tight. Almost had to get a wretch to get it off like why!! They need to redo that design. Other than that it is a decent thermal. In my most recent research I’ve found almost all come from China and Coleman brand seems to be the best on ever level. Still I do like this cup a lot. |
